Di qua dal sole – This Side of the Sun

Writing poetry is a dance that sways between light and shadow: a surge that channels a longing for the absolute while, at the same time, stumbling over our temporal finitude, which compels us to search for meaning within the span of our lives.
Within this slender space the poet’s existential inquiry unfolds, distilling hours and days to grasp meanings that are carried back into the act of making poems. Poetry thus becomes the answer that urges us to accept the challenge of each new day, in a kind of secular priesthood that expresses a single thought: art as both the sole source and the sole purpose.
