Orb Photography Basics: Investigating Paranormal Light Anomalies

This guide provides a methodical approach to the field of orb photography, focusing on how to capture and analyze potential evidence of paranormal light anomalies. It offers detailed instructions on how to photograph orbs by mastering essential camera settings, including the manual control of aperture, exposure time, and ISO values, to achieve clarity in low-light conditions. Readers will learn to manage flash reflection and its effects on airborne particles, and to distinguish these from lens flare and other optical artifacts.
A central theme is the critical differentiation of dust and orbs. The book presents techniques for identifying common natural phenomena such as dust, pollen, insects, and moisture droplets. These are often mistaken for paranormal occurrences. It further explores the psychology of interpretation, explaining the concept of pareidolia and the influence of preconceived expectations on perception, while offering methods to maintain objectivity.
Moving beyond the basics, the text introduces advanced methods within spirit photography. This includes an exploration of photography outside the visible spectrum, detailing the fundamentals of infrared and UV techniques to potentially reveal anomalies invisible to the naked eye. The book also covers methods for documenting dynamic light anomalies through long-exposure shots and video recording.
Finally, a structured framework is provided for systematic data collection and analysis. Readers will learn the importance of documenting environmental conditions, taking control shots, and maintaining precise records of all camera settings. The guide outlines criteria for credible evidence of paranormal activity, emphasizing the need to exclude all rational explanations before drawing conclusions. This resource is designed for individuals seeking a structured and analytical approach to investigating and photographing unexplained light anomalies.
