A Comparative Grammar of Sanskrit, Greek and Latin

Most of those writers on Philology to whose works I am indebted are mentioned either in the text or notes of this book, and I have here only to express my especial obligations to the writings of Bopp, Schleicher, Corssen, Curtius, and Bucheler, and to several valuable essays in Kuhn’s Zeitschrift by Ebel, Grassmann, Dietrich, Walter, and others.

I have also to thank Dr. C. Lottner, Professor of Sanskrit in the University of Dublin, for helping me in the revision of the proof-sheets, and for many valuable suggestions supplied during the progress of the work.
